Citizen Science and education are my passions. While homeschooling my son we became involved in multiple projects with The Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont. When we moved back to Crystal River in 2019, it only made sense for our son to attend AES. We became involved with Save Crystal River, they are responsible for the seagrass restoration in Kings Bay with Sea and Shoreline. I have also been helping with education for Save Crystal River at festivals, The Book, Line, and Thinkers program and library outreach. I have been a certified diver since 1997. I have served as Board Secretary since 2022.
